Born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, 'Ohana and community is important to me. Crossfit Kona is both.
When I was turning 40 I decided to get in shape and start a bucket list. Running a marathon was first on that list. As I started running, I was told to cross train. I didn’t even know what that meant. I started training with Crossfit Kona and I never looked back. Over seven years later, four sizes smaller and now a Level 1 Trainer.
If you are visiting, you can find me in the shade after a Filthy Friday WOD drinking a margarita and I like to share.
PS. I ran that marathon in sub 5 hours with mostly Crossfit and only a few long runs to prepare for it. The mental strength I gained through CrossFit got me through.
